It's quickly become clear to me that "integrates well with my main website" probably isn't a good primary goal for journal design, especially before I know what I'm doing. So I figure I'll just tweak with the provided layouts for a bit (and having a second post here will be helpful in figuring out what this thing will look like). These journal thingies can look so generic so easily, though...
