Finally trying this out...

Well, peer pressure has finally overwhelmed me, so I'm going to make one of these LiveJournal thingies. I don't promise to spend much time on it at all, mind you; I'm creating it as much as a way to keep track of friends with journals here as anything else. But I figure I may as well play with formatting a little bit (and other fun stuff: I've even experimented with embedding this into my main website in standard style (which is part of why I'm trying this current CSS setup, which is mildly complicated).

Of course, I've noticed that Internet Explorer isn't playing well with this current styling, mainly because it doesn't comprehend "fixed" background images. For now, if you use IE to view this page, I think you're going to just have to deal with it looking a bit weird. I might eventually fix it up a little... or maybe not. (Why not try Firefox instead?)
